Woodcrafts...
Inspired by the wood we've used to create our Fairy Houses, we now also make a range of products hand-crafted from Yew wood which is ethically sourced, and chosen for it's beautiful colour and finish.
All the work is individually sawn from selected pieces, carved, finely sanded and polished and treated with natural blend of Tung nut oil. Each piece is truly unique, all having different shape, colour and grain.
Elventree Pendants:
The average size of a pendant is 2 inches (50 mm) diameter. They are carefully cut and shaped from Yew slices, all uniquely designed depending on the shape, woodgrain and colour.
They are finished with a natural wooden bead and hung on green cord.

Elventree Mirrors:
These unique hanging Elventree Mirrors average 3 inches (75 mm) diameter. Two matching pieces are cut and shaped from Yew slices, and assembled with a mirror sandwiched in between.
They are finished with a painted wooden bead and hung on a short green cord.
They look great hanging in a window, etc.

Elventree Suncatchers:
These hanging Elventree suncatchers average 4 inches in diameter. Two matching pieces are cut and shaped from Yew slices and have our unique Elventree in the center. They are assembled with handblown American stained glass sandwiched in between.
This suncatcher is purple, blue and clear streaked and has an evening sky feel to it.
They are hung on a short navy ribbon with a painted wooden bead and are finished with Tung nut oil which is not only ecologically friendly but brings out the wonderful colours of the wood.
They look beautiful hanging in a window, etc.

These brooches average 2 inches in length (50 mm). They are cut and shaped from Yew slices making each hare or fox unique in colour - no two are the same. Moon Gazer:
These picture-framed 'Hare and Moon' s measure approximatley 12 x 6 inches (150 mm x 300 mm).
The Hares and Moons themselves are made from yew, and mounted on a starry black background, surrounded by a reclaimed pine frame.
We hand make all the frames and individually assemble all the pictures; each picture being unique due to the colours and grain of the Yew wood used.

The Three Hares:
We've created sets of 'Three Hares', again cut and shaped from Yew to give each a unique character.
The largest is about 4 1/2 inches (110 mm) long, the smallest is 2 1/2 inches (60 mm) long, and they stand on a re-claimed oak plinth.
